  • “Negra Cicatriz” – short story  (Portuguese)
    • A noir episode of an average character who finds himself in an extreme and undesired scenario beyond his control. Inspired by and dedicated to works such as the Sin City, Saw, and Hitman series.

  • “For the First Time” – short story (English)
  • “Tears Do Not Heal Scars” – short story (English)
  • “Craque Brasileiro” – short story (Portuguese)
  • “A Different Diagnosis” – short story (English)
  • “Primus Bacon” Character – 1st place at Character Design Contest (Portuguese)
    • A continuation to events of the 1843 “Three Little Pigs” fable in which the brick house pig is found distraught after having killed the big bad wolf, but unable to save his brothers. Created in co-authorship by Arthur Protasio and Larissa Fuchs.
    • The character submission won 1st place at the Character Design contest of the at the VIII Brazilian Symposium for Digital Games and Entertainment at PUC-Rio. The character design was accompanied by a report which explained target audience, the foundations of the research involved, and the implementation of the character in a graphic novel.

  • “Sentença: Game Over” – short play (Portuguese)
    • A play presented in the form of a theatrical reading and acted out by cosplayers to protest against game censorship in Brazil.

  • “You Are Trash” – Java Game (English)
  • “7th Serpent: Genesis” – Max Payne 2 Mod (English)
  • “M.O.L.D. Our Last Defense” – Unity 3D (English)
  • “Gifted” – Game Concept Document (Portuguese)
    • Arcade rail-shooter game concept developed for a university class on game design fundamentals. Based on a post-apocalyptic future where humans possess powers due to the exposure to radiation and must use both guns and their hands to fight against rebellious machines.
    • Role: Game Designer, Writer and Project Lead

  • “Freedom of Speech and Electronic Games” – short academic article (Portuguese)
    • Published at university law newspaper. Explains, from a legal point of view, why games such not be the target of judicial decisions that prohibit them.
    • Available for reading here.
  • “Games and Freedom of Speech” – full academic paper (Portuguese w/ English Abstract)
    • Published and presented at Brazilian Symposium of Games [retrieve from Game Studies website]. Justifies why games should be viewed as cultural and artistic works and therefore deserve the treatment of freedom of speech as opposed to legal censorship.

  • “Objection: Games, Narrative and Culture” – Online Column (Portuguese)
    • Monthly web column for Earegames.com.br website that explored and discussed the relevance of culture and narrative to games as well as the connection between all of them.

  • “Games, Media, and Tangential Learning: Understanding the role of games in culture and education” – Colloquium (English/Portuguese)
    • Presented a talk on “Games and Freedom of Speech”.
    • Produced and organized the event as part of the CTS Game Studies project.
